Who I am
A personal project for learning, visualizing, and practising music.
I am Oriol Vilà i Sànchez, and Noteid is born from my experience learning instruments as a self-taught musician. I missed having one place to truly understand music theory concepts, see them through examples, and practise concrete skills on the instrument.
Why it exists
With Noteid, I want to unite theory, visualization, and practice in the same space: explaining musical concepts with a solid foundation, showing what they express, and offering guided exercises to reinforce them. Designed for students, self-taught learners, curious musicians, and also for more advanced people who want to train notation, reading, transcription, ear training, and rhythm.
Mission
I want learning to be more than just technical: every concept must be heard, felt, and applied. Noteid is free for everyone, with no ads or subscriptions, and only stores data to preserve user progress and preferences.
