How to do it
- Play the pattern at the 5th-fret position, two notes per string.
- Ascend from string 6 to 1 and back, with alternate picking.
- Once memorised, try improvising short phrases with it.
Variations
- Transpose the box to other keys (E minor at fret 12, G minor at fret 3…).
- Play it in groups of four and add hammer-ons and pull-offs.
