How to do it

  1. Strum once per bar and change chord on beat one.
  2. Find the "pivot finger": finger 3 stays and guides the move between G and C.
  3. Move all fingers at once, as a single block.

Variations

  • Try other chord pairs: C-G, G-D, E minor-C.
  • Add a strumming pattern (down-down-up) once the change is clean.

Tips

  • Practise the change without strumming: just forming and releasing the shape.
