Alberti bass

How to do it

1. Left hand over the C chord (C-E-G): play C-G-E-G with fingering 5-1-3-1.
2. Keep the pattern soft and even, like a background; the wrist makes a small circular motion.
3. Once it is automatic, add a long note in the right hand on top.

Variations

• Move the pattern to F and G and chain C-F-G-C.
• Play a simple melody in the right hand while the left keeps the Alberti.
• Try another accompaniment: the waltz one (bass - chord - chord).
