Right-hand fingering

How to do it

  1. Right hand: finger 3 on black keys, finger 1 on white keys (at E-F and B-C, two white keys with 1-2).
  2. Move straight toward the back of the keys, without wrist swaying.
  3. Start very slow and raise the tempo only when perfectly even.

Variations

  • Start from other notes and extend to 2 octaves.
  • Hands together in contrary motion: the most classic way to practise it.
  • Try it in triplets and in groups of four.
