Right-hand fingering
How to do it
- Place the right hand with the thumb on middle C (fingers 1-2-3-4-5 over C-D-E-F-G).
- Go up and down legato, with a relaxed wrist and curved fingers.
- Repeat with the left hand an octave lower, then with both hands together.
Variations
- Transpose the pattern up a semitone each time: C#, D, D#… until back to C.
- Play it with a dotted rhythm (long-short) and then reversed (short-long).
- Alternate one bar legato and one bar staccato.
Tips
- Listen to the volume: every note should sound equally loud.
